This course is intended for current print artists, art students and others interested in a refresher in the basics of digital file-based materials. The first three lectures will explain the basics of online and print-based visual-art licensing, including how to file your artwork, how to access Creative Commons sites and online tutorials, and how to export files to your computer for placing in digital portfolios and other digital uses. The remaining sessions will focus on the following topics:

Mastering your computer’s software tools for printing, publishing, and displaying the work.

Alternative formats for print-based works, such as screen printing, silkscreening, etching, and more.

Networking for your art career and obtaining professional print jobs in the print-based market.

Now that I’ve had a chance to go through and actually watch these videos, I still can’t help but shake the nagging feeling that the real challenge they left out for me is how to host that file and make it all well-branded (which, of course, would be the real challenge for other online retailers as well).

Thought I’d pop in to remind you that BIAG staff meetings are always held on Wednesdays. We usually start at 10am and go for an hour or so, depending on who’s there. Usually around noon or 1pm is when we finish.

My name is Sherry and I am the BIAG Coordinator. We just had our first meeting today (Wed, 8/16) and are looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better. To be honest, the on-line information is not very helpful, so hopefully these meeting are the beginning of getting to know our friends in REAL life. Anyway, if anyone has any questions at all, feel free to send me a PM (Personal Message). That’s the only way we get on the “International” and “Northeast Regional” lists on the BIAG website.

I have been lurking here for awhile, catching up on what everyone is doing…not a prolific poster but a willing listener (to those posts that interest me at any rate)…I have made a few “cards” but they have been very time consuming. I think that is mainly because of the amount of time I spend on my pc.
I love the stamping and will definitely join your weekly club. I have dabbled in rubber stamping before but have no idea how to use the computer and print. I am willing to learn and willing to help a fellow like myself.

Well, my name is Julie. I’m a 28 year old (from New Jersey). I’m a
