Crack In The World Resource Pack

The goal of partisan gerrymandering is to amplify a political party’s power beyond what it deserves based on their vote share alone. This process is accomplished by two complementary methods: packing and cracking. Packing occurs when many supporters of the victim party are jammed into a small number of districts, giving them a few overwhelming wins. The remaining members of the victim party are then cracked, spread across a large number of districts, so that they consistently win just under 50% of the vote. Luckily, packing and cracking creates a distinctive pattern of wins for both the perpetrator and the victim parties, wherein the victim party wins its few seats by overwhelming margins and the perpetrating party wins its many seats by considerably lower margins. This pattern, and thus partisan gerrymanders, can be detected with the help of a little math.

In 1936, Turing had invented a hypothetical computing device that came to be known as the universal Turing machine. After the Second World War ended, he continued his research in this area, building on his earlier work and incorporating all he’d learnt during the war. Whilst working for the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Turing published a design for the ACE (Automatic Computing Engine), which was arguably the forerunner to the modern computer. The ACE project was not taken forward, however, and he later left the NPL.

Description:
Crack in the World is a short adventure map focused on story and special effects. In typical adventure fashion, you go around exploring places, talking to NPCs to gather information and items, and unlocking the next part of the story. I would not consider this map difficult. It can be completed in approximately 30 – 40 minutes.

texture pack support allows for replacement of default terraria sprites which means you can change the visual appearance of anything in the game including items, weapons, accessories, backgrounds, npcs, furniture, enemies, bosses, and even some of the user interface itself!
if you want to create a new block texture, you follow the same process but make a folder called blocks in your textures folder and place your block textures there. remember, you can always look at the vanilla minecraft resource pack as an example (/vanilla_resource_pack/textures/blocks).
you can create new tiles as a copy of the existing tiles in the vanilla minecraft resource pack. to do this, first make a folder called tiles in your textures folder. then, make a folder called items and place the vanilla tiles there.
use the ui sprites generator to create the ui tile sprite images. follow the same process as above, but make a folder called ui in your textures folder. remember, you can always look at the vanilla minecraft resource pack as an example (/vanilla_resource_pack/textures/ui).
to create a new npc, use the same process as above, but make a folder called npcs in your textures folder. remember, you can always look at the vanilla minecraft resource pack as an example (/vanilla_resource_pack/textures/npcs).
to create a new enemy texture, use the same process as above, but make a folder called enemies in your textures folder. remember, you can always look at the vanilla minecraft resource pack as an example (/vanilla_resource_pack/textures/enemies).
