The first tool you should consider, if you have already started developing a workflow (or a cluster) and you want to reuse the logic, is the workflow engine iWMS.
With this engine, you can:

Define the nodes transitions (these are interfaces that define the behaviour of the node classes).
Define the nodes input data and interactions.

With.NET Bio Workflow Workbench, you will be able to elaborately design software visually just by linking multiple segments in one assembly and then quickly and easily persist them to an XML file. Everyone knows that session values are stored on the server and are not shared between requests. This is one of the reasons why we need to store session values on the client-side.

JWT (JSON Web Token) is a neat protocol that is used to handle session management on the client-side.

In this course we will implement a demo on JWT. We will do that using plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

How it works?

JWT uses three keys to make sure that a token is only valid for one session.

1st key is your secret, 2nd key is the secret on the server, and 3rd key is a time stamp.

The demo that we will build is a counter. It counts the number of times that the user logs in. If the time stamp of the token is less than the current time on the server, then it means that the user has already logged in. If not, then we store the token and count the number of times that the token was used.

What are the steps?

1. Getting a token

First step is getting a token. Once we have a token, then we can use it to count the number of times that the user logged in.

On step 1 we will show how to generate a token and how to store it.

2. Counting the number of times that the user logged in

Now that we have a token, we can simply add the token on each request so that we can know the number of times that the user has logged in.
